Landcafe Neubokel in Gifhorn

Super delicious cake with huge pieces, inside very rustic in a country house style, lots of places outside (partly also covered). Promotions such as courtyard party, asparagus dinner, Mother's Day, etc., super friendly staff, you feel really welcome here, everything is totally personal and super warm. The raclette in the Advent season is awesome. We have been going there every year for years. Simply a place to feel good. ?

The cakes are very big and delicious, but the coffee and ice cream weren't great. Strangely enough, we didn't get a receipt, no idea whether the waitress put the money in her own pocket or whether that is the norm. Edit: Unfortunately, I have to take back my praise for the cakes, because on another visit there I found a frozen housefly in the yogurt section of my raspberry cake. DISGUSTING!!! I don't even want to know how many insects I overlooked and ate here. Nothing like this has ever happened to me, not even in such a cheap discount supermarket cake. Apart from that, there was no receipt this time either. Maybe they cheat on taxes, one can only speculate. What is certain, however, is that something is going seriously wrong here and the heart-shaped ice cubes no longer help ...

I can not and will not award more than 2 stars here. We ordered 2x waffles with ice cream + cherries + 2x cappuccino. On the waffles we had to wait over 50 (!) Minutes. Unfortunately, these came with cream, although we had explicitly canceled them in advance. Tasty unfortunately only average and with 14,60 € overall rather high priced. We understand that when the tables are full, it may take longer, but not so long. Ambience is nice, but we definitely do not come back and can not recommend it.

I got a very tasty piece of Black Forest cherry cake with a very tasty black sweet cherry on top! The cake was perfectly chilled and delicious! With it a very good Italian-style cappuccino! Very anticipatory, helpful and friendly staff! Operation is quick and easy! Cleanliness is good to very good! You can also rent a room here!
